Design a planting scheme to complement this architect-designed home, situated in the dramatic alpine foothills of the Geneva Basin.
This was a project designed from afar in collaboration with a very can-do client keen to take on the implementation of the scheme himself. The terraine was quite a challenge being both rugged, rocky, and heavy clay. The design was created as a perennial planting scheme - a dynamic matrix of perennials to be cut back yearly in early spring.
A work in progress, started in Spring 2021, this 200m square perennial planting scheme is now planted and growing, but will take a few years to reach maturity.
